The community is hereby notified of the proposed amendments to the constitution of the Sinoville Community Police Forum. The community is also hereby notified of the Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Executive Committee of the Sinoville Community Police Forum. During this meeting, the proposed amendments to the constitution will be voted on. This notice is available on the Sinoville CPF Exco website at https://scpfexco.co.za/c5/notices. PUBLIC COMMENT INCLUSION PROCESS TO AMENDMENTS TO THE CONSITUTION
In terms of paragraph 27.3 of the constitution, the process is as follows:

From the date of publication (Monday, 3 February), the public may submit comments on the amended constitution for a period of 14 days. Submission of comments will close on Monday, 17 February at midnight. Comments on the amended consitution can be sent per e-mail to secretary@scpfexco.co.za AND to cbriel@brielinc.com.

After the closing date for the submission of comments, these inputs will be considered for 7 days.

On Monday, 24 February, the final amended constitution will be circulated for three days. No further comments will be allowed.

On Thursday, 27 February, the SGM will take place where the proposed changes to the constitution will be voted for by all registered members in attendance. A two thirds majority is required to implement the proposed changes.
